Spanish I:

Spanish I is an overview and introduction to written and spoken Spanish. The course begins with an introduction to the basics of the language including the alphabet and rules of pronunciation. Basic grammar structures are covered including nouns, articles, verbs and verb tense, infinitives, subjects, direct and indirect objects, adjectives, and basic sentence structure. Basic vocabulary covered includes the following: colors, numbers, months, dates, time, restaurants, traveling vocabulary, questions phrases, the body, clothes, school, personal pronouns, the city, Christmas, church, shopping, health, mail and letters. There are also weekly Bible verses from the Spanish New Testament, Spanish Conversations, Interviews, Reports, and Oral Mastery Exercises.

 

Bible:
Systematic Theology:

Bible for the Tenth Grade is a survey of Systematic Theology. The course approaches the major doctrines of Revelation, God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, Humanity, Sin, Salvation, the Church, Angels, Death and the Eternal State. Systematic theology is an integrative approach to doing theology. It takes into account biblical, historical, philosophical and practical elements in theology in attempting to develop a coherent belief system. Special emphasis will be placed on how theology applies to the student in their everyday modern life in an effort to achieve character formation.
