Education: I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1984 with a B.A. in Art, and in 1989 with a Certification in Teaching.
Years in Education: I started teaching in 1989, and I started teaching at Grace in 2003. I have also taught High School.
Favorite Teacher: My favorite teacher was Mr. Bright, who was my Algebra teacher. He told me that there are some people who just don't get word problems...I was normal!
Why I became a teacher: I was concerned about the number of students who were graduating and who had difficulty reading.
Hobbies: I enjoy reading, drawing, painting, and beading.
Pets: We have two cats, Mr. Bigglesworth and Snorky.
Favorite Scripture: Psalm 8:3-9 "When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Favorite Subject: Algebra in high school, and Geology in college.
