Education: I have a BS in journalism from West Virginia University and a Master's degree in Education from Georgia State University
Years in Education: I have been teaching since 1990. I have been teaching at Grace since 2002. I have also taught third grade.
Favorite Teacher: Mr. McKown, my Algebra II teacher. He could bring this difficult subject down to my level where I could understand it.
Why I became a teacher: I wanted a job that would allow me to be home when my children were home.
Favorite Hobbies: Reading, Vegetable gardening, and Bowling.
Pets: I have two cats -- CuddleBug, an orange tabby, and Miss Blackie, who is black!
Favorite Scripture: Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." This verse has given me hope during some very difficult times in my life.
Favorite Subject in school: English
